Working together with internationally renowned earthworks artist, Stan Herd, our firm helped to deign, engineer, fabricate, and install the first vertical earthwork in downtown San Francisco.

Our metal studio created an aluminum structural system that would allow the massive earthwork to be suspended over 45 feet in the air with no invasive attachments to the exiting building. Over 5000 pounds of aluminum were processed and welded in our Lawrence, Kansas shop, then disassembled and shipped to California to be re-assembled on prominent corner near Giants Stadium.
