"Designing for the Spencer Museum of Art 20/21 gallery required an element of innovation in terms of display methods.  Developing this idea in drawings and models was the easy part.  Finding someone who could fine tune the engineering and actually do the construction was more challenging.  It was especially gratifying to work with Scott because he could envision the next step in the project, not only technically but conceptually".

Richard Klocke, Exhibition Designer, Spencer Museum of Art

"During the development phase of 715 we conducted exploratory exchanges with a number of design/build firms in hopes of identifying a project partner whose vision, creativity, work ethic, follow through and integrity were established and of the highest caliber. We selected Scott Trettel and his firm, Trettel Design Inc., for our build out beginning in early 2009 and were consistently blown away by the innovative design, workmanship quality, deliverables timeliness and cost control discipline he and the firm exhibited throughout our project. 715’s partners have collectively been involved in numerous design/build projects in the past and unanimously agree that the experience we had with Scott and his staff stands above all other experience we’ve encountered in any of our previous design/build project endeavors."

"I had the pleasure to teach Scott Trettel in an Architectural Design Studio at The University of Kansas.  As a student, he had great design skills and dedication which he developed into a strong design, build and fabrication company.  Over the past 10 years, I have worked with Scott on numerous projects that require a collaborative focus on design and execution excellence.  These projects range in size from a highly refined cosmetic bar for a sophisticated department store to an efficient artist studio to my firm’s work stations.  I will continue to work with Scott because of his innate desire for excellence, ability to perform and most importantly, very happy clients."
