trusses at dawn

It is not very often that we start our work day at 4am but when the biggest crane in town needs to block Massachusetts street for a couple of hours we do make exceptions. These heavy structural steel trusses were designed and welded in our metal shop, then hot dipped in molten zinc for a long lasting galvanized coating prior to us placing them delicately on the roof of our latest loft project. They will serve as the backbone to a new atrium space we are building. Stay tuned for photos of the finished product.
